About Us
Over four decades ago, J.W. "Bill" Thompson founded Efficient Electric
Construction Co. Since its humble beginning in 1958 until
the present time, the company has built an impeccable
reputation in the construction industry. Over the years, the
company has successfully completed projects such as shopping
malls, schools, electrical sub stations and complete city
infrastructure of underground utilities from Key West
Florida to Washington D.C.
Rick Thompson,
the son and President of Efficient, has always worked with
his father in the business. Rick with a strong background in
electrical and mechanical engineering, has an accounting
degree from the University of Tennessee and is a Certified
Public Accountant.
Bill and Rick
Thompson are licensed commercial pilots and appreciate fine
machinery. This along with their combined 70 plus years of
construction experience and their passion for perfection and
detail, prompted their creation of Thompson Coach Company.
The company’s first objective would be to convert new
Prevost shells into high end, top quality, luxurious motor
coaches, incorporating the most advanced, yet user friendly
technology available. Secondly, these coaches must be
reasonably priced without compromise. Quality, technology
and price equals VALUE.
